The overall aim of the conference is to provide an international platform of a high professional quality, in order to present, discuss and disseminate scientific findings pertaining to the sustainable conservation and integrated management of marine and coastal ecosystems.
MarsCoastEcos2012, through a high diversity of topics and the international character, will focus on generic themes, in order to maximize the interdisciplinary linkages and to provide a large participation from academicians, researchers, students, agencies, policy makers, NGOs, business community and other potential stakeholders.
The conference structure and format will be designed to maximize interaction between participants through the oral presentations, posters, exhibition, plenary lectures and thematic workshops.
